ALICO ROAD CONNECTOR TO SR 82
The project will be completed in three phases:
Phase I: Widen Alico Road from Airport Haul Road to Green Meadow Road to four lanes. This phase is expected to begin construction in Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25.
Phase II: Build a new four-lane arterial roadway connecting Alico Road to SR 82 at the Sunshine Boulevard intersection, including a continuous flow intersection at SR 82. This phase is expected to begin construction in FY 2025/26.
Phase III: Widen Sunshine Boulevard from SR 82 to 23rd St SW to four lanes. This phase is also expected to begin construction in FY 2025/26.
THREE OAKS PARKWAY NORTH
The project involves extending Three Oaks Parkway from its current end at the Fiddlesticks Canal northward, connecting it to Daniels Parkway at the intersection with Fiddlesticks Boulevard/Palomino Lane.
- Construction is currently underway on the canal crossing and the first phase of Three Oaks Parkway, extending from the canal to Indian Pony Road.
- The design work for the segment from Indian Pony Road north to Daniels Parkway is ongoing, with construction scheduled to begin in Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26.
Additionally, the project includes widening Daniels Parkway to eight lanes from Apaloosa Lane to Danport Boulevard. The design phase for this widening is also ongoing, with construction expected to commence in FY 2025/26.
